Advertisement Booking Guidelines
When submitting your advertisments please follow these simple rules:
- Only the first two words of the text should be in capital letters. The rest of the text should be supplied in upper and lower case.
- Allow one space between every word.
- Make sure that your advertisement copy is spell checked and grammatically correct eg full stops, capital letters at the beginning of sentences etc.
- Make sure that you have completed the Catchline field.
- Pet Ads. Please put the age of the pet in the advertisement text.
- All goods for sale are second hand, even if they have never been used. Advertisements cannot state 'new' or 'brand new'. Alternative phrases are 'as new' or 'never used'.
- KM Freeads may not contain the 'cost new' prices of items.
- Please do not put percentage signs into advertisement text, instead write it in full.
- Please do not supply advertisement copy as you would a text message. Advertisements should be submitted as they are to appear in the newspaper.
- Telephone numbers should only appear at the end of your advertisement copy.
