KM Freeads is a service offered at its discretion by Kent Messenger Limited ("KM") to Private advertisers for lineage advertisement published in certain publications owned by KM and KM's internet site. A Private advertiser is defined by KM as an individual who advertises in respect of his or her own personal activities and not in connection directly or indirectly with any business, trade or non profit organisation.

KM also publishes a KM Freeads publication and the majority of the advertisements that are published are free, but it does contain some paid-for advertisements.

1. KM reserves the right at any time to:

• Vary or withdraw the KM Freeads service;
• Vary the number and extent of the KM publications within which KM Freeads appear;
• Vary the categories of type of advertisement or category of customers to which the KM Freeads service applies;
• Vary the size of the advertisement that appears;
• Vary these Conditions of Acceptance.

without the requirement for any notice to any KM Freeads advertiser or potential advertiser.

2. Orders for insertion must comply with the KM standard "Conditions of Acceptance of Advertisement" (hereinafter referred to as "Standard Terms") which are:

(a) Published within our newspapers and the KM Freeads publication from time to time;

(b) Available for review on our website , www.kentonline.co.uk;

(c) Displayed in KM's offices;

(d) Available upon request from Customer Services department on 01622 794660 or email customerservices@thekmgroup.co.uk

(e) Deemed to be incorporated herein as if the same were set out in full.

3. Certain specific advertisements are not eligible for the KM Freeads service and any orders for these categories require payment in accordance with our Standard Terms, and additional conditions may apply specifically:

i) Classified Trade Advertiser:
advertisers selling goods in the course of business are not eligible for the KM Freeads Service;

ii) Classified Private Advertiser:
bookings are only accepted from advertisers able to provide a land-line telephone number;
multiple/similar items for sale appearing over a 3 month period will be deemed to be trade advertising and will require payment;
only 10 items per advertiser will be accepted at any one time;
advertisements for firearms are not accepted;
advertisements for tobacco and alcoholic products for sale are not accepted;
advertisements for mobile phones for sale. Proof of ownership will be required for all mobile phones for sale.

iii) Classified Pet/Animal Advertising:
advertisements to sell animals/pets are not eligible for the KM Freeads service and are required to be paid and additionally are subject to certain conditions.

iv) Classified Property Advertising:
private residential property for sale appears in the KM Freeads publication only; residential properties to let are not eligible for the KM Freeads service and require payment; holiday homes to let/sell are not eligible.

v) Classified Motor Advertising:
advertisements for cars, motorcycles, caravans, commercial, boats and yachts priced £1,500 or more are not eligible;
advertisers placing adverts for 4 or more cars per year will be deemed to be trading and will not be eligible.

4. For service and training purposes, telephone calls to any of the KM's Telesales Departments may be recorded.

5. The placing of an order, whether verbal or written, for the advertisement shall be deemed to be an acceptance of the above Conditions and the Standard Terms. Any conditions stipulated shall be void in so far as they are in conflict with these conditions.
